South Africa — Pay online with Bitcoin

South African retailers that use MoneyBadger-compatible payment QR codes can be paid with Bitcoin through Buho Jump. This works on their online shops — paste or scan the payment QR code, and Buho Jump handles the rest.

Buho Jump detects the retailer QR code, converts it to a Lightning payment via CryptoQR, and shows the ZAR amount alongside the sats equivalent. The merchant receives ZAR — you pay in Bitcoin.

Receiving payments

Create a Lightning invoice from the receive screen. Share the QR code or copy the invoice string.

LNURL-withdraw links are also supported — paste a lnurlw:// link to claim incoming funds.

Fiat conversion

The wallet shows your balance and payments in both sats and your local currency. 19 currencies supported — USD, EUR, GBP, JPY, CHF, ZAR, and more. Toggle between sats and fiat by tapping the balance.
